Through this strategic partnership, BLP Digital and Axept aim to automate the entire purchase-to-pay process in the ERP software Abacus using AI. In this way, the two companies want to make their contribution to ensuring that the Swiss economy remains efficient and internationally competitive, even in times of an increasing shortage of skilled workers.
BLP Digital, a provider of an AI-based ERP process automation solution, announced June 29 a strategic partnership with software company Axept. Through this collaboration and with Axept as one of the largest distributors of the Swiss ERP software Abacus, BLP Digital strengthens its positioning in the Abacus environment.
With immediate effect, all Abacus customers will benefit from an unprecedented level of automation for their core processes such as vendor invoices, order confirmations, delivery bills or sales orders, thus relieving their specialists of tedious manual work.
Thore Harmuth, Co-Founder and CCO of BLP Digital, explained: “Axept’s many years of experience and expertise, especially in the areas of manufacturing, construction, real estate and energy, perfectly complement BLP Digital’s know-how in the automation of ERP processes.”

Just two months ago, BLP Digital announced that it had received CHF 2.5 million in funding from Swiss innovation agency Innosuisse as part of its Swiss Accelerator program.
Zurich-based BLP-Digital, a spin-off of ETH Zurich and HSG St. Gallen, has developed a generic AI that fully automates document-based ERP processes in the cloud, such as supplier invoices, order confirmations and delivery bills from day one, without ever having seen the documents beforehand.
