The National Science Foundation is granting Docugami $1 million to support the company’s efforts to advance the science of identifying, analyzing, and understanding the semantic relationships between various elements of long-form documents to create a Business Document XML Knowledge Graph.
Docugami, a provider of Generative AI for business documents, announced June 28 that it has received a $1 million grant from the National Science Foundation (NSF). The NSF is an independent federal agency that supports science and engineering across the US.
At the heart of Docugami’s Generative AI for business documents are Contextual Semantic Labels (CSLs), and the NSF grant will support the company’s scientific work on them. Docugami’s CSL technology breaks down long-form documents into individual chunks, identifies the relevant chunks within the text, and labels each chunk with a deep understanding of the individual user’s unique norms and terms to create and label nodes in Business Document XML Knowledge Graphs.

Docugami had recently announced the integration of LangChain, a framework for simplifying the creation of applications using Large Language Models (LLMs), into its platform.
