SS&C Blue Prism unveils its next generation hybrid intelligent automation platform Intelligent automation solutions provider SS&C Blue Prism has announced the first release of its Next Generation (Next Gen) intelligent automation platform. According to SS&C Blue Prism, this release represents a milestone in intelligent automation, facilitating cloud adoption without compromising security and compliance (the platform’s cybersecurity and compliance features are designed to give access to organizations with sensitive data or restricted systems access). SS&C Blue Prism Next Gen unlocks the potential of intelligent automation by providing organizations with greater scalability, agility and access to the latest capabilities through offloaded infrastructure maintenance via the cloud. Colin Redbond, SVP Product Management of SS&C Blue Prism, explained: “Although 87% of organizations have accelerated their investments in cloud-hosted automation services in the past year, many organizations still face a number of barriers. Next Gen’s hybrid deployment model addresses this issue head-on, equipping customers with the latest IA capabilities needed to create value for customers and employees. SS&C Blue Prism Next Gen enables organizations to reduce infrastructure overheads, quickly adapt to changing priorities, scale more effectively, and upgrade digital workers on demand while satisfying the necessary industry security and compliance requirements.”
ABBYY again receives ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certifications Intelligent automation company ABBYY has announced that it has again successfully passed the ISO 27001:2013 and ISO 9001:2015 surveillance audits conducted by international certification institute Intercert. ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 certifications are only awarded to companies that meet strict criteria and adhere to global best practices covering processes from product development, deployment and training to customer support, services and operations. They underscore ABBYY’s commitment to maintaining the highest standards of quality and data security and promote its global initiative to develop trustworthy AI technology.
Datamatics acquires Dextara Digital to expand its capabilities in the Salesforce ecosystem IDP provider Datamatics has announced that it has acquired Dextara Digital, a premier provider of Salesforce services. With this acquisition, Datamatics aims to expand its capabilities in the Salesforce ecosystem to tap into the growing Salesforce market while further strengthening its position as a leading Digital Technologies provider. Rahul Kanodia, Vice Chairman and CEO of Datamatics, commented: “We are excited to welcome Dextara Digital to the Datamatics family. Roboyo appoints Derk Weinheimer as new Group CEO Hyperautomation professional services company Roboyo has announced that it has appointed Derk Weinheimer as its new Group Chief Executive Officer, having already served as Roboyo’s interim CEO since December 2023. Technology & Cognition LAB introduces “Automatic Signature Detection” feature (via newsletter) IDP vendor Technology & Cognition LAB has introduced the latest feature for its IDP solution AIDA. The “Automatic Signature Detection” feature automatically captures every signature on documents, eliminating the need to scroll through pages to ensure all fields have been signed.
UiPath appoints new SVP of Product Management Enterprise automation and AI software company UiPath has announced that it has appointed Sebastian Schrötel as its new Senior Vice President of Product Management. At UiPath, the seasoned SAP executive will lead, among other things, UiPath Autopilot (which combines generative AI and specialized AI to enhance productivity and democratize automation across the enterprise) and the development of business in the Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) market. Sebastian Schrötel commented on his new role: “I’m most passionate about innovating within emerging products that are in high demand for enterprises worldwide and I believe UiPath is bringing to market AI and automation solutions that are changing work in global enterprises.
