Cogniquest welcomes renowned tech industry leader U B Pravin Rao to its advisory board to help guide the company’s expansion
Intelligent Document Processing provider Cogniquest has announced that U B Pravin Rao has joined the company’s advisory board. With more than three decades of experience in the technology industry, including as COO of Infosys and board member, Pravin Rao brings a wealth of expertise and strategic vision to help accelerate the IDP provider’s growth. Pravin Rao commented on his new role: “I am excited to join Cogniquest as a member of the advisory board. The company’s focus on using AI to address complex document processing challenges is both timely and critical in today’s business environment. I look forward to working with the team to drive growth and innovation.” Satish Grampurohit, Co-founder & CEO of Cogniquest, added: “We are delighted to welcome U B Pravin Rao to our advisory board. His deep understanding of the technology landscape, combined with his proven experience in scaling global enterprises, will be invaluable as we expand our footprint and enhance our solutions. We are privileged to have Pravin’s counsel, and all of us at Cogniquest are truly grateful for his support.” In August, Cogniquest announced that it has secured an investment from VC fund Cedar-IBSi Capital, along with more than 25 industry leaders as angel investors through AngelList India.
ExB’s Founder and CEO, Dr. Ramin Assadollahi, steps down from his role as CEO as the company embarks on its next phase of growth
Intelligent Document Processing provider ExB has announced that its Founder and long-time CEO, Dr. Ramin Assadollahi, has stepped down from his position as CEO. However, he will remain with the company as Chairman of the Board and continues to support with his strategic expertise. Tobias Brix, a specialist in scaling SaaS businesses who brings over 10 years of experience at IBM and as COO of communications software company Whispir, takes over as CEO to lead the IDP provider into its next phase of growth. Dr. Ramin Assadollahi explained: “The decision to step down as CEO is a natural progression for me and the company. I remain a founder and inventor at heart, and now that I see that our IDP solution is very successfully solving real customer problems, it’s time to hand over the reins to someone who knows how to scale successfully. I am proud that we have been able to bring excellent employees as well as team leads on board across all departments. As Chairman of the Board, I look forward to continuing to support the strategic direction and promote ExB’s innovative strength.” He added: “With our skilled team and Tobias in charge, I am confident that ExB will continue to grow and establish itself as the first choice for companies in a wide range of industries.” Tobias Brix commented on his new role: “Especially since working for IBM and Watson, I am passionate about transforming unstructured data (natural language) with the help of machine learning and AI. ABBYY with new virtual event series “Ascend” to highlight the latest developments in AI
Intelligent automation company ABBYY has announced a new virtual event series called ABBYY Ascend, designed to help global organizations accelerate their digital transformation. The ABBYY Ascend inaugural event will take place on October 30, 2024 and will focus on simplifying processes and accelerating success through intelligent automation, with insights from ABBYY experts Patrick “PJ” Jean, CPO & CTO, Maxime Vermeir, Senior Director of AI Strategy and Product Marketing, Slavena Hristova, Director of Product Marketing – Document AI, Dr. Marlene Wolfgruber, Product Marketing Manager – AI and Jon Knisley, Product Marketing Manager – Process AI. Tungsten Automation appoints Rocky Subramanian as new Chief Revenue Officer
Intelligent Document Processing provider Tungsten Automation has announced the appointment of Rocky Subramanian as its new Chief Revenue Officer. Rocky Subramanian has nearly three decades of experience in the software industry, including positions at SAP and Oracle, and will lead Tungsten Automation’s global sales organization, channel partnerships and strategic growth initiatives. He commented on his new role: “I’m excited to join the executive team at Tungsten Automation, the leading innovator in AI-powered document automation and look forward to driving the next stage of its growth. Our cutting-edge AI-enhanced software portfolio empowers customers and partners to rapidly deploy solutions that automate complex manual processes, driving substantial cost savings and increased revenue.”
Instabase appoints Joon Kim as new Federal Director of Sales Engineering
Intelligent Document Processing vendor Instabase has announced the appointment of Joon Kim as its new Federal Director of Sales Engineering to lead the company in tackling some of federal agencies’ toughest problems – transforming large volumes of unstructured data and documents into insights. Anant Bhardwaj, Founder & CEO at Instabase, commented: “With a proven track record of leading high-impact teams and executing successful strategic initiatives in complex federal deployments, Joon brings a wealth of expertise and innovation to our team. ProcessMaker announces availability of its Student Transfer Evaluation platform
Business process automation and IDP provider ProcessMaker has announced the availability of its Student Transfer Evaluation platform, which helps institutions automate manual processes, reduce admissions teams’ hours and eliminate errors. Alex George, CEO of ProcessMaker, explained: “The livelihood of higher educational institutions is directly related to the institution’s ability to recruit, accept and onboard students – and today, this includes more and more transfer students. Reveille Software launches advanced Microsoft 365 management solution
Reveille Software, a provider of management and monitoring solutions for Intelligent Process Automation-based applications, has announced the launch of Reveille Sentry for Microsoft 365. With this, Reveille meets the growing demands of organizations that rely on multiple intelligent automation platforms. Ralph Gammon, Senior Analyst at analyst firm Infosource, commented: “I have known Reveille for a long time as a leader in monitoring tools for optimizing the operation of mission-critical Intelligent Document Processing and Content Services applications, which has historically included SharePoint. Reveille’s latest offering broadens their coverage of Microsoft environments, addressing a wider spectrum of M365 tools, processes, and applications. Reveille Sentry for M365 offers Managed Service Providers a valuable in-depth observability tool to offer their enterprise customers.”
