ABBYY appoints CISO to lead its InfoSec initiatives

As Chief Information Security Officer (CISO), Clayton C. Peddy will accelerate the development and deployment of ABBYY’s solutions and ensure that customers experience value while maintaining the highest levels of information security.

ABBYY, a leading provider of intelligent process automation solutions, including Vantage, its Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) platform, announced May 21, 2024, that it has appointed Clayton C. Peddy as its Chief Information Security Officer (CISO). Peddy will lead ABBYY’s infosec initiatives to ensure the company continues to maintain the highest standards of data protection, regulatory compliance, and innovation for its customers.

Clayton C. Peddy brings more than two decades of experience in cybersecurity, software development, architecture consulting and digital transformation to ABBYY and has served in various security leadership roles, most recently as Chief Security Officer at OutSystems.

Last week, the Intelligent Document Processing provider announced the redesign of its Marketplace. The revamped Marketplace consists of an extensive library of AI document capabilities that simplifies deployment, meets the growing demand from organizations for the high-quality data required to effectively leverage large language models (LLMs), and also supports the use of retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) systems with Vantage, ABBYY’s Intelligent Document Processing platform.
