Leveraging Cogent Labs’ AI technology and IDP solution, the two companies have begun collaboration to expand the Business Process Outsourcing (BPO) and Digital Transformation (DX) services offered by transcosmos.
Cogent Labs, a provider of AI technology solutions which include SmartRead, its Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) solution, announced May 15 that it has formed a capital and business alliance with Global Digital Transformation Partner transcosmos. In doing so, the two companies aim to further expand the application areas combining their technologies and strengths.
transcosmos has already adopted Cogent Lab’s IDP solution SmartRead, promoting the efficient conversion of document data from a wide range of documents, including drawings and transactional documents such as invoices. In addition, the data will be used for automated sorting and process management of business processes on the data utilization platform for each business provided by transcosmos, thereby improving the business efficiency of customers and promoting digital transformation.
Tokyo-based Cogent Labs develops and provides AI solutions, including SmartRead, its Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) solution that reads and extracts information from various types of documents, including invoices, order forms, contracts, questionnaires, and passbooks. SmartRead uses pre-trained AI to significantly reduce the time and cost of customer pre-configuration.
