Intelligent Document Processing vendor Blumatix announces that CSS Group has acquired a majority stake in the company
Intelligent Document Processing vendor Blumatix has announced that CSS Group, a German enterprise software developer, has acquired a majority stake in the company. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. With this acquisition, the CSS Group will integrate Blumatix’s IDP solutions into its portfolio to offer more comprehensive AI capabilities that drive business value through more efficient and intelligent processes. According to CSS Group, Blumatix will remain an independent organization within the group, with Blumatix Co-Founder and CEO Martin Loiperdinger continuing to lead the company as Managing Director. Martin Loiperdinger, Co-Founder and CEO of Blumatix, commented: “I am delighted that we can combine our many years of know-how in the field of AI with CSS’s in-depth expertise in the area of commercial corporate management. This partnership enables us to develop AI-based, forward-looking solutions that make corporate management more efficient and effective. For our customers, this means real added value in the form of optimized processes, greater efficiency and sustainable competitive advantages.” Robert Lindner, CEO of CSS, added: “With Blumatix, we are gaining a strong AI specialist both in document recognition and in the application of state-of-the-art AI models. The acquisition will allow us to significantly expand the AI expertise in our organization, establish development know-how on the Austrian market and ultimately drive forward the use of artificial intelligence in a targeted manner. Docugami opens its first international subsidiary, Docugami Canada, to accelerate the company’s engagement with the Canadian AI sector
Intelligent Document Processing vendor Docugami has announced its first international subsidiary, Docugami Canada. With this, the company aims to accelerate its engagement with the Canadian AI sector in general – specifically to extend its outreach to AI scientists and AI entrepreneurs, as well as document-intensive businesses based in Canada. Jean Paoli, CEO of Docugami, commented: “We are thrilled to launch our Canadian subsidiary, which will enable us to work more closely with the vibrant AI community in Canada. Our Canadian subsidiary will help us expand our collaboration with leading AI scientists, universities, government agencies, and businesses, furthering our mission to empower businesses business by automatically and securely turning their complex documents into data.”
DOConvert joins Oracle ISV partnership and brings its bi-directional integration to Oracle’s ecosystem
Intelligent Document Processing vendor DOConvert has announced that it is now an official Oracle ISV partner. Thanks to this partnership, DOConvert brings its bi-directional integration into the Oracle ecosystem, helping organizations reduce manual work, eliminate data errors and streamline document processing for procurement, order management, compliance and more, without the need for major IT involvement.

Ocrolus joins forces with Lender Toolkit to transform mortgage workflows
Intelligent Document Processing vendor Ocrolus has announced a partnership with Lender Toolkit. Thanks to this partnership, Lender Toolkit will integrate Ocrolus’ IDP technology into its product line to help lenders improve workflows, reduce errors, and speed up loan approvals. Vik Dua, Chief Operating Officer at Ocrolus, commented: “Partnering with Lender Toolkit marks an exciting advancement in transforming mortgage workflows. Their innovative approach to empowering lenders aligns seamlessly with Ocrolus’ mission to drive smarter, faster lending decisions through advanced document automation. OpenText reports its Q2FY2025 financial results
Intelligent Document Processing provider OpenText has announced its financial results for the second quarter (which ended December 31, 2024). Highlights include: Total revenues of $1.335 billion, down 13.1% year-over-year; ARR of $1.053 billion, down 8.1% year-over-year; cloud revenues of $462 million, up 2.7% year-over-year; adjusted EBITDA of $501 million, margin of 37.6%. Mark J. Barrenechea, OpenText CEO & CTO, commented: “OpenText’s Q2 results demonstrate the strength of our operating model, delivering $501 million of adjusted EBITDA, and 37.6% adjusted EBITDA margin, and generating $307 million of Free Cash Flows (FCF). The Company’s top priorities remain total growth, competitive advantage, margin expansion and FCF, while producing upper quartile capital returns.”

Intelligent Document Processing provider Straive has unveiled its newest tech hub in Two/NEO Bonifacio Global City (BGC) in Taguig, Philippines.
Concord Technologies appoints new CEO for its next phase of growth
Intelligent Document Processing provider Concord Technologies has announced that it has appointed William Cavanaugh as its new Chief Executive Officer. Cavanaugh succeeds Concord’s founder Chris Moore, who led the company for nearly three decades. Chris Moore will now serve as Chairman of Concord. William Cavanaugh, who joined Concord as President in 2022, will focus on continuing the company’s strong growth trajectory. He commented on his new role as CEO: “As I take on this role, my primary focus will be to honor the foundations that have made our company great — profitable growth, product innovation, and being obsessed with customer success. We’ll also be embracing new challenges and accelerating the market adoption of Concord’s Practical AI approach to lessening administrative burden in healthcare. Together we’re aiming for even greater heights – ‘up and to the right,’ as we like to say.”
