Eigen Technologies achieves SOC2 and HIPAA compliance IDP vendor Eigen Technologies announced that it has achieved SOC2 Type 1 compliance, an auditing standard focused on evaluating service organizations’ controls and processes for security, availability, processing integrity, confidentiality and privacy. In addition, the IDP vendor has also achieved HIPAA compliance which guarantees the protection of protected health information in the US. Thanks to these compliance achievements, Eigen Technologies is able to expand its offering to a larger number of regulated industries. Simon Hogg, Eigen’s Chief Information Security Officer, commented: “We know from our clients that for them the highest standards of cybersecurity are non-negotiable. Adding SOC2 Type 1 and HIPAA to our list of certifications is the next step for us in serving them. It is built upon the security culture we have established at Eigen over many years and on our deep experience gained from working in some of the world’s most regulated industries.”

Kodak Alaris forms new business solutions organization to accelerate its growth trajectory in the IDP market Information capture solutions provider Kodak Alaris has announced the formation of its new dedicated business solutions organization to support the company’s goal to accelerate growth within its Intelligent Document Processing offerings. Kodak Alaris’ new global Business Solutions organization will be led by Jim Forger, who has been promoted to VP Business Solutions. Joining the team are Bodo Wagener as Global Solutions Sales Leader, Brent Wesler as Global Pre-Sales Solutions Engineer, Cindy Collins as Global Delivery Manager, and Jeff Munn as Global Solutions Marketing & Market Development Manager. Software analyst Ralph Gammon commented on the newly formed team: “Congrats to Kodak Alaris for putting together a bit of an all-star team to promote Intelligent Document Processing solutions including its Info Input software and INfuse network scanning solution. This is certainly not the first time, Alaris has invested in software, but over the past couple years they have been improving their software product portfolio and it’s good to see them put the people in place to drive sales in what is still a very dynamic Capture & IDP marketplace.”

AIFinTech100 is an annual list compiled by leading analysts and industry experts that ranks the 100 most innovative AI solutions for the financial services industry. Last year, Quantiphi was also named an InsurTech100 company.

expert.ai expands the capabilities of its hybrid AI platform AI company expert.ai announced that it has expanded the capabilities of its enterprise AI platform for natural language solutions. The latest version of its platform includes core technology enhancements that provide organizations with even more security and flexibility when creating or enhancing AI-enabled natural language solutions, as well as security and infrastructure improvements.

HuLoop Automation with investment from Vibranium.VC The provider of an AI-powered intelligent automation platform including IDP, HuLoop Automation, announced that Vibranium Venture Capital has invested in its platform to support the company’s growth. After investments from Growth Factory, Rebellion Ventures, Nurture Ventures and Team Ignite Ventures, the investment of Vibranium.VC is the fifth one for HuLoop, as the company looks to raise a total of $4 million in the seed round. Todd P. Michaud, CEO of HuLoop Automation, said: “We are thrilled to announce Vibranium Venture Capital’s investment in our company. We are very fortunate to have truly committed investors and shareholders surrounding our young innovation company. With their invaluable support, we’re poised to redefine the future of work and revolutionize key industries worldwide.”
