With the strategic acquisition of the Polish Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) vendor, Box, the Intelligent Content Cloud, aims to enhance the power of Box AI to automate document-related tasks and extract valuable metadata from key business content across a variety of industries.
Box, the Intelligent Content Cloud, announced on August 8, 2024, that it has acquired the Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) vendor Alphamoon. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Once fully integrated into Box, the company expects Alphamoon’s IDP technology to further expand the capabilities of the Box AI platform.

Diego Dugatkin (pictured above), Chief Product Officer of Box, wrote in a blog post: “Alphamoon’s technology is truly next-level. They’ve cracked the code on combining state-of-the-art large language models (LLMs) with their own proprietary OCR and document processing tech. The result? A powerhouse solution that can intelligently structure documents at scale like never before.” He continued: “This strategic move, along with Box’s recent acquisition of Crooze, the leading provider of no-code enterprise content management applications, significantly expands the capabilities of the Box Intelligent Content Cloud. By integrating Alphamoon’s cutting-edge AI technology with Box AI, and bringing the talented Alphamoon team to Box, we’re well-positioned to automate mission-critical document-related tasks and extract valuable metadata from critical business content across a variety of industries.”
In January, Alphamoon announced that it had joined the Association of Financial Companies in Poland (ZPF), which brings together the leading companies in the Polish financial market.
