In addition to the formation of the network, Indico Data announced the appointment of David Laker as a board observer to help guide the company as it continues to expand.
Indico Data, an Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) provider, announced on October 8, 2024, that it has formed an Insurance Industry Advisor Network. Initial members include eight insurance industry leaders who will support Indico Data with their extensive expertise to enhance its AI-powered solutions for insurance providers.
In addition to the Insurance Industry Advisor Network, Indico Data announced the appointment of David Laker, Chief Commercial Officer (CCO) of Guidewire, the platform for property and casualty insurers, as a Board Observer. This comes as part of Guidewire’s recent equity investment (Indico Data announced in June the closing of a $19 million funding round co-led by Guidewire). With David Laker as Board Observer, the IDP provider expects to bring a deep understanding of the insurance technology landscape.
