The partnership between the Intelligent Document Processing vendor and the AI technology provider fighting financial crime and fraud addresses the growing demand for enhanced security measures in fraud-prone document processing workflows.
Instabase, an Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) vendor, announced October 2 that it has partnered with cybersecurity and financial crime experts Resistant AI. Under the partnership, the two companies will offer financial services organizations Resistant AI’s Document Forensics to authenticate digital Know Your Customer (KYC) documents submitted through Instabase’s AI Hub platform, which processes large volumes of unstructured data to automate end-to-end workflows.
As online fraudsters become more sophisticated thanks to the rise of AI, more powerful technologies and techniques are needed to combat them. The partnership between Instabase and Resistant AI is aimed precisely at addressing the growing demand for enhanced security measures in fraud-prone document processing workflows, including identifying and preventing the opening of new money transfer accounts related to peer-to-peer (P2P) fraud.
Martin Rehak, CEO and Founder of Resistant AI, said: “We are proud to work with Instabase to offer a solution that enables customers to automate workflows while safeguarding against fraud. Customers can feel secure knowing that they are using best-in-class technologies, from two companies that are committed to working together and integrating their product to address document fraud from end-to-end.”
Joe Ramieri, VP of GTM at Instabase, explained: “Given the ethos of innovation that both Resistant AI and Instabase have built on, our customers can now leverage an additional layer of protection by validating document authenticity, and be armed with the right integrated toolkit to stay ahead of the rapidly evolving financial crime landscape.”
Two weeks ago, Instabase was named in the FinTech Global InsurTech100 list for the second year in a row.
Headquartered in San Francisco, Instabase offers its AI Hub platform, including Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) capabilities that understand and analyze unstructured data, and workflow automation capabilities that allow organizations to solve their most pressing business challenges at scale.
