KnowledgeLake introduces a new update for its IDP platform

With the “Ontario” update, KnowledgeLake expands the capabilities of its Intelligent Document Processing platform with an enhanced process automation engine to help organizations solve their complex business process and workflow automation challenges on a single platform. Furthermore, the update features new capabilities that enable better digital customer experiences.

KnowledgeLake, an Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) provider, announced February 8 the availability of the “Ontario” update for its IDP platform. New capabilities include an enhanced process automation engine and an improved customer experience.

With this update, KnowledgeLake expands the process automation engine with conditional routing, looping, error handling, granular permissions and other enhancements that enable simple and complex automations across different applications and systems. In addition, “Ontario” also elevates the customer experience by simplifying document and data capture and providing greater visibility into the status of applications, transactions and other processes.

Jason Burian, VP of Product for KnowledgeLake, commented: “Digital workflows and processes are getting more complex by the day and involve a growing number of stakeholders. To succeed in this dynamic environment and satisfy customers, organizations require more technical agility, and that means better tools. The Ontario release loops customers right into workflows and lets IT professionals and citizen developers alike automate complex, end-to-end business processes and create streamlined digital experiences for customers.”

Ron Cameron, founder and CEO of KnowledgeLake, said: “We’ve taken a major step forward in our process automation capabilities. We know that not every workflow is the same, and business processes are often messy or non-linear. We’ve developed an even more powerful process automation engine to support all the various contingencies, conditions and applications modern business processes require. Organizations will be able to address their most complex workflows and automate them beautifully in one easy to use interface. At the same time, they can bring customers directly into those workflows.”

In November, KnowledgeLake was featured in Aite-Novarica Group’s Commercial Banking FinTech Spotlight for providing innovative FinTech solutions to the commercial banking sector.

St. Louis-based KnowledgeLake provides a cloud-native, end-to-end Intelligent Document Processing (IDP) solution for capturing, processing, managing and archiving critical business documents across multiple industries such as education, logistics, manufacturing and BFSI on a single platform.
